So you’re looking to elope near/around San Diego but you’re thinking, “Where do I even begin??” but don’t even worry for a second – I got you covered with my top ten outdoor elopement locations near San Diego!
Torrey Pines
Torrey Pines State Reserve actually has a few different looks to offer when it comes to scenery! You have the awesome views on the beach itself with plenty of rocks that give the illusion of you guys floating on the water 😉 examples of those photos below!
But then you also have the opportunity to enjoy some pretty magical views from above by driving up to the top parking lots on the cliff and getting shots with the incredible colors + textures of the cliffs!
La Jolla
Another good spot. The photos below are from Windansea beach (yes, the couple above went from Torrey Pines to Windansea because both are JUST THAT AWESOME! 😉
But there are obviously plenty more places in La Jolla that you can take advantage of! La Jolla has lots of sea cliff settings and a few great areas for some greenery + ocean views!
Sunset Cliffs
There are also two places you could potentially go to for this spot! One of them is more secluded (directly below) and is primarily overlooking the ocean, but you can technically go down to the beach if you wanted to!
The other place is the more “touristy” area so it’s more crowded and busy but still SO beautiful! And there’s enough beach cliffs + water to go around for everyone 😉
Mount Laguna
I know I always thought there weren’t really any mountains by the San Diego area… but I was wrong! Mount Laguna is a great spot to get that mountain vibe if you live in sunny San Diego 🙂
Balboa Park
Balboa Park literally has SO MANY OPTIONS you can choose from as you can see in the photos below! There is plenty of greenery to go around but also plenty of architecture, and even a little bit of tropical thrown in. Definitely a great spot for variety!
Glamis
Though not “technically” local to San Diego, it’s only a couple hours from San Diego and is truly such a beautiful and peaceful place 🙂
Joshua Tree
Technically not near San Diego at all, but still a great place if you’re looking for a desert vibe. You seriously can’t go wrong with these views!!
