If Folu and Summer’s engagement session with me almost a year ago wasn’t an indicator of how amazing their wedding photos would turn out, I don’t know what would be! These two are absolute naturals in front of the camera. 🙂 There were times throughout the day where I felt I was capturing images for an editorial bridal magazine rather than at an actual wedding! Their wedding was a touching and emotional day that I was honored to photograph. I was so glad that Summer and Folu were able to pull this day off despite all of the craziness that 2020 and COVID has dealt everyone. They were absolute champs in adjusting their expectations and ideas to this ever-changing situation.
This wedding truly won in the details. From the Nigerian outfits they changed into at the reception to the picturesque sunset views and delectable looking food spreads, every aspect reflected the couple’s elevated bohemian style. I loved that both Summer and Folu wanted to honor their families’ culture and tradition as a way of joining the two families into one.
