Balboa Park in San Diego has so much to offer when it comes to photography. If you like architecture, they’ve got that. If you like gardens, they’ve got that. If you like some tropical vibes, they have that too. And if you like cool looking trees, well hey – they got that too! 🙂 the best part about Balboa Park is that it’s so close to the coast! So if you wanted to change up scenery, we’re but 15-20 mins from some of the best beaches in San Diego like Torrey Pines, La Jolla and in this case – Sunset Cliffs!
Sunset Cliffs is definitely a super popular beach in San Diego. But prior to this session, I went out to San Diego to scout out some not so touristy areas in the hopes of finding one of the secret swings. If you didn’t know, San Diego has some secret swings spread out across the city. There’s a few in La Jolla, but there was one in particular I was looking for and couldn’t find anything about it on the good ol internet. So I looked at some of the photos I saw at the place, and also based on the fact that what I could find said it was close to sunset cliffs. So I genuinely took a general guess as to where it could be, walked some trails to the general area and ALMOST walked away. But I heard some kids having a good time behind a large palm tree and voila – there she be!
These two were so great to work with. They were down to let me get quirky and weird and helped get my creative juices going by doing so! Enjoy this session with Steve & Andrea 🙂
