Denise and David eloped on a beautiful fall day in Carmel, California. Carmel is a city in Monterey County known for its natural scenery, rich artistic history, and white sandy beach called Carmel Beach. Denise and David chose to have an elopement over a traditional wedding ceremony, which gave us tons of creative freedom to focus on their special day and love story.

Chasing the Sunset

When it came to capturing Denise and David, the city of Carmel was full of photo-worthy views – and we took advantage. Carmel beach was the perfect romantic location with a hill that overlooked the waters and sunset. Denise looked stunning wearing a long sleeve satin gown and mid-length veil with floral embroidery and detail at the ends, while David wore a classic black tux which is always a great choice. Although there were tons to see in Carmel, the best for me was watching Denise and David intimately enjoy their elopement and make their wedding day unique to them.

A Celebration with Love

Although Denise and David wanted a private ceremony, they went with an open reception celebration filled with loved ones. The decor was light and airy, with pops of soft blue linens across each table and romantic white roses as the table centerpieces. Family and friends expressed their love for the couple, and there weren’t many dry eyes as Denise and David partook in the traditional parent dances. The night went with tons of dancing and love filling the room and ended with a final toast. It was an incredible experience to capture their unique wedding, and I am grateful for the time getting to know them!
