Despite the fact that we nearly got blown by the wind into a million pieces, this engagement session for Jericho & Ashley was such a great time! For this session I drove up to Crestline and met them at their favorite small town coffee shop to start, we took some cute photos with (LOTS) of spilled coffee and then headed to a secret mountainside spot Jericho found and took some photographs there – IT WAS SO WINDY! But also so worth it 🙂
It’s actually a crazy story how I got connected with these two. Jericho was technically in the same private school I was when I was entering high school but I only vaguely remember seeing him 1 or 2 times. Life took him elsewhere and when I headed off to community college, I met Ashley in one of my college English classes! She has been following my photo journey since before I ever went full-time – real MVP right there haha. Then, once I started getting into weddings more, she reached out about having Jericho second shoot for me with the weddings I was shooting. I was actually looking for another steady second shooter at the time and then when he showed up to the first wedding we realized we knew each other from back when we were younger….. so crazy!!! And now, I have the honor of photographing their wedding in September and I cannot be more excited!
These two were down for anything and weren’t afraid to be 100% themselves – which I always love! Thanks for asking me to photograph your relationship guys – can’t wait to party it up at the wedding!!
