I could not have asked for a better couple for this September 7th wedding up north! Last year I flew out for a quick turnaround trip to shoot their engagement photos at Redwood Regional Park (pretty dang magical) and I knew we were going to have a good time from that moment forward! Plus, I mean, they hold a special place in my heart as they sent me home with an in n out gift card 😉
I absolutely love when my couples incorporate traditional/cultural aspects of their lives to their wedding! Not only did I get to witness a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, but I also got to witness 7 – yes 7 – lion dancers make their appearance for Danny and Ravine during the reception! I had witnessed one other reception that had lion dancers, but they literally fit 7 into the room! Needless to say, it was extremely overwhelming but in the BEST way possible!
I walked away from this wedding (as I do every wedding) with so much gratitude in my heart for the ability to capture these moments in time for couples. My job is seriously the best ever. I am so thankful!
